Type 241 Cables have a flexible tinned copper conductor. Each has a layup of three insulated cores plus Pilot Core(s): the pilot core offering an element of reinforcement strength making it viable for longer distances without compromising connectivity. The pilot core can also be used for monitoring operations if a very low current is applied.

Type 241 Mining Cable Application

These Type 241 1.1 to 11KV Mining cables are designed for various uses, including main feeder cable for continuous miners, pump cable, and power supply cable. Overall semi-conductive screen provides protective earth contact for any object breaching the sheath prior to contact with power conductors.
